Richard Craig Gunn, age 84 of Freeport, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born in Guernsey County on April 18, 1939, a son of the late Floyd R. Gunn and Marjorie L. (Steele) Gunn.
Mr. Gunn was a 1957 graduate of Madison High School. He worked and retired from Gencorp Polymer Products in Newcomerstown. He enjoyed his cattle and farming and loved and cherished his family.
Dick is survived by: his wife of 65 years, Marcia G. (Steele) Gunn; two daughters, April (& Bob) Beall of Newcomerstown, and Becky (& Dwain Stocker) Gunn, of Antrim; four grandchildren, Courtney (& Russell) Gray, Heather (& Chris Carney) Beall, Cody (& Kaylee) Lenarz and Josh (& Brittany) Beall; and twelve great-grandchildren, Abigail, Izabella, Landon, Sidney, Samuel,Trenton, Kelsey, Lexi, Laney, Livia, Marleigh and Remington; a brother Kenny (& Paulette) Gunn; and a niece and two nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 10 am to 2 pm with services to begin at 2 pm. Pastor Craig Murray will officiate with burial to follow in Clear Fork Cemetery. Dick's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
