Rita Faye Bowser, age 61 of Kimbolton, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2023 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 6, 1961 in Port Clinton, Ohio, a daughter of the late Ralph Taylor and Grace (McClelland) Taylor.
Mrs. Bowser had worked as a bartender for the American Legin in Newcomerstown and had also worked at Walmart. She was an avid Steelers fan and enjoyed playing bingo. She loved camping at East Harbor State Park with the family at Lake Erie. Rita was a Dance Central and EDA grandma for 13 years and enjoyed watching her granddaughters dance.
Rita is survived by: her husband of almost 36 years, Blaine Bowser; daughters, Amanda (Tyler) Bowser and Lisa (Kimmie) Bowser - Krebs; a son Joe (Katie) Bowser; a brother Daryl Taylor; granddaughters, Emily Bowser and Lily King; and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by: her parents; two brothers, Jim and Jack Taylor; and a sister Rosa Cristler.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 15, 2023 from 11 am to 12 pm with the service to begin at 12 pm. Pastor Tim Pollock will officiate with burial following in Northfield Cemetery. Rita's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
