Robert D. Combs, age 51 of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 as the result of an accident. He was born on April 7, 1971 in Cambridge.
Mr. Combs was a graduate of Cambridge High School and attended Kent State. He worked full time for the Guernsey County Highway Department and periodically for Parnell and Associates. He attended New Pointe Church. Robert loved the Buckeyes, music, yard work and telling short winded stories, but most of all, he loved spending time with his daughter Jaelyn.
Robert is preceded in death by: his wife Janet Kay (Burris) Combs on May 11, 2019, they were married on November 8, 2002. Also deceased is his brother Steven Combs.
Surviving are: his parents, Ronald D. Combs and Rebecca A. (Klein) Combs of Cambridge; his daughter Jaelyn K. Combs of Cambridge; two step-sons, Jeff W. (& Jacki) Miller and Ryan D. (& Kirsten) Miller of Columbus; sisters, Mary (& Chris) Mizek of Columbus and Ann Garrison of Charleston, S.C.; and a niece and a nephew, Molly and Steven Garrison.
Memorial visitation will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, February 11, 2023 from 12 pm to 3 pm for a Buckeye sendoff.
