Roger Allen Leeper, age 70 of Lore City passed away on Monday, January 2, 2023 at his home surrounded by loved ones. He was born on February 20, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio, a son of the late James E. Leeper and Edna "Sally" (Nealey) Leeper.
Mr. Leeper was a graduate of Cambridge High School. He worked at Salt Fork State Park in many positions but retired as and equipment operator. Roger was an avid outdoors man. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking and riding his Harley. He was a member of the NRA and the Cambridge Eagles. Roger played in the Unforgiven Band along with numerous other bands in the surrounding area.
Roger is survived by his wife Rebecca L. (Moore) Leeper, they were together for over 38 years. Also surviving are: step-children, Lisha (Joe) Fieler and Trisha Zeidan; step-grandchildren, Lillian and Ethan Fieler and Joseph and Nora Zeidan; his sister Jo Ellen (Harry) Evans; a nephew Michael A. (Danielle) Evans Sr.; two great nephews, Mike Jr. and Parker Evans; his long time friend Adam Roe; and numerous aunts and uncles.
He is preceded in death by: his parents and an infant sister Karen Leeper.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, January 6, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm and on Saturday from 10 to 11 am with the service to begin at 11 am. Pastor Randolph White will officiate with burial to follow in Center Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Interim Hospice. Roger's online guest book may be viewed and signed at
