Obituary

Rosalie A. (Berger) Van Camp, age 98 of Cambridge, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at her home. She was born on February 4, 1921 in Mew Martinsville, W.V., a daughter of the late Albert M. Berger and Mabel I. (Potts) Berger.
Mrs. Van Camp was a graduate of Magnolia High School in New Martinsville. She was married on June 18, 1938 to Albert Can Camp, Jr. He preceded her in death on March 27, 1988.
Mrs. Van Camp was a member of First United Methodist Church, where she was also an active member of the United Methodist Women and Naomi Ruth Sunday School Class. Rosalie was a volunteer at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center for many years and also a member of the hospital axillary. She was a member of the Business and Professional Girls and had worked many years at Columbia Gas as a customer service representative.
Rosalie is preceded in death by her sister Ruth Lemon.
She leaves: a son Timothy Kent (Patricia) Van Camp of Cambridge and a daughter Suzanne Van Camp (Vicki Hogan) of Fairfield; two step grandchildren, Scott Raymond (Georgi) Mercer and Julia Marie Hollingshead (Troy Thompson); and five step great grandchildren, Kayla, Trevor, Zachary, Scarlett and Elizabeth; a cousin and dear friend Jane Beam of Anaheim, CA; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, January 30, 2020 from 5 to 8 pm with her service to be held on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11 am. Rev. Max Beery will officiate with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church or to Hospice of Guernsey.
