Roy Bernard Ashworth, age 82, of Kimbolton, OH passed away Monday August 12, 2024 at Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, FL. Roy was born July 27, 1942 to the late Dorsie Ashworth and Fanny Francis (Baker) Ashworth in Hamlin, WVa . He was a US Army Veteran serving during Vietnam. Roy was a truck driver for Roadway Express. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Roy enjoyed boating and camping.
Along with his parents Roy is preceded in death by one brother, Guy and two sisters Sylvia Campbell and Maryann Pinkus.
He is survived by his wife Geneva Gail (Cochran) Ashworth whom he married on August 4, 1967. Three sons: Roy Ashworth Jr. of Ravenna, OH, Craig Ashworth of Cambridge, OH, Mark (Nikki DiGiacomo) Ashworth of Kent, OH. Grandchildren: Heather & Scotty Dennison, Nick & Kate Ashworth, Kayla Satterfield, Craig Jr., Tristan and Zane Ashworth. Great grandchildren: Destiny, Grace, Scotty Dennison Jr., Alexys, Nichole, Ashton, Neveah and Adeline Ashworth, Ella Satterfield and Oaklynn Dunn. One brother, Billy Lee Ashworth of Cambridge, OH.
