Roy James, age 83 of Cambridge, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at Embassy of Cambridge. A son of the late Nelson James and Bertha M. (Smith) James. He was born on May 22, 1938 in McVeigh, Kentucky, but spent most of his younger years in Paducah.
Mr. James was a sulky driver and very involved with racing horses.
He leaves: three daughters, Rebecca Kovach, Kimberly James - Myers and Robin Clark all of Michigan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Roy is preceded in death by: his parents; his wife; and his siblings, Corbett James, Buddy James, Hazel Anderson and June Harper.
