Russell Roy "Rusty" Dickerson age 50 of Lore City, passed away following a very brave and courageous battle with cancer.
Born September 10, 1963, to the late Paul and Marie (Crum) Dickerson. He was currently employed as a maintenance man at Go-Mart.
Russell was an inspiration to many with his love of music, while trying to install the love of guitar playing and singing to his son and many nieces and nephews, giving them confidence and support to continue to follow their dreams.
Rusty is survived by: his fiance' and love of his life Anita Morris; her mother Linda Turner; his son Ronald Paul Dickerson; his ex-wife and good friend Ronda Dickerson; his sisters, Charlene (Raymond) Harris of Akron, and Sandy (Gerald) Fisher of Marietta; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a brother Carl Dickerson; and a sister Paula Preston.
Visitation will be from 11am to 1 pm Monday, March 31, 2014 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with the service at 1 pm. Burial will follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens.
