Ruth E. Gray, age 77, of Cambridge, OH passed away Saturday December 30, 2023 at The Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born on November 12, 1946 to the late Elmer Bishard and Mary Lou Oakley Bishard. She had worked at NCR and for Cambridge City Schools as a teachers aide. Ruth was a member of Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church. She worked for many years at the Election Board as a poll worker.
Along with parents Ruth is preceded in death by a sister, Martha Hostutler and a nephew, Kevin Hostutler.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Gray, whom she married May 10, 1970. One daughter, Amy (Randy) Bradley of Cambridge, OH. One sister Janet Shaffer of Cambridge, OH. Two grandchildren, Sara (Dan) Bielek and Matthew (Emily) Bradley. Two great grandchildren, Jones and Miller Bielek, also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 pm Wednesday January 3, 2024 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home and again from 11 am till 12N Thursday at Mt. Hermon Presbyterian Church. The Funeral Service will be held at 12 N Thursday at the church. Burial will follow at Mt Hermon Cemetery. Pastor Jim Gibson officiating.
