Sandra Sue Shockley, age 75 of Cambridge, went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Thursday, June 16, 2016 at the Beckett House in New Concord. She was born on July 22, 1940, a daughter of the late Paul W. Shockley and Goldie Marie Gray Shockley.
Ms. Shockley was a member of the Faith United Methodist Church and had worked at the Cambridge State Hospital in house keeping for over 17 years. She enjoyed crocheting and shopping.
Sandra is survived by: a sister Gloria J. (Larry) Townsend of Cambridge; a niece Darlene (Brenten "Scott") Henry of WV; three nephews, Paul (Linda) Townsend of Cambridge, Terry (Marynell) Townsend of New Concord and Mike (Rebecca) Townsend of Cambridge; several great nieces, nephews and many cousins including Dale (Paula) Shockley of Cambridge.
She is preceded in death by: her parents, Paul and Goldie Shockley; a sister Patricia Shockley; and a great niece Meghan L. Townsend.
Visitation will be on Monday, June 20, 2016 from 5 to 8 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 also at Bundy-Law Funeral Home at 11 am. Rev. Brenten "Scott" Henry will officiate the service with burial to follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens.
