Obituary

Shanea Michelle Joiner-Creighton, 42, of Cambridge Ohio passed away unexpectedly on January 17th, 2024.
Shanea was born on July 2nd, 1981 in New Philadelphia , Ohio to Debbie and Terry Joiner of Plainfield, Ohio. Shanea is preceded in death by her Mother-in-law, JoAnn Stonerock and her father-in-law Tom Stonerock. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Joe Creighton, daughter Josie, and son, Cameron., sister, Wendy (Chad), sister-in-law Celesta (Heath), brother-in- law David (Tessie), nieces Emily, Lexi, Shayla, and Brittany. nephews Tommy, Austin, and Justin, and many friends.
Shanea graduated from Meadowbrook high school in 1999 where she graduated with her high school diploma as well as her nursing license as a Licensed Practical Nurse. Shanea later attended Excelsior College to receive her bachelor's as a Registered Nurse.
Shanea found her home when she began her career at MVHC where she has worked for the last 5 years. The people she worked with were like family to her.
Shanea was the embodiment of a mother. With countless sporting events and fair showings, she never missed a thing if it involved her kids. She lived for them. She supported her kids in any sport or hobby they were interested in. She loved watching her son Cameron race his 4-wheelers and adored watching her daughter Josie be a rockstar at volleyball. Her family was her entire world. She loved taking vacations with her family, especially to the beach and spending a lot of time camping with family and friends.
Shanea had a personality that lit up any room she walked into. She is described as a beautiful, loving, caring, fun mother and wife. An amazing person that would give anyone a shoulder to cry on if they needed it.
Shanea welcomed any of Josie and Cameron's friends into their home as if they were her own. They all knew they were welcome anytime just like they were part of her family.
Josie would say that her mom cared about everyone around her more than herself. Cameron will tell you that his mom would do whatever it took to make him and Josie happy. And Joe has said so many times over the last few days that Shanea was the person that made everything in their lives happen. The things that needed done would take 3 people to handle and he was only 1/2 of the person doing it all, which meant that Shanea did the rest to make sure her family had everything they wanted or needed. Their lives are forever changed without their wife, mother, planner, housekeeper, chef, chauffeur, accountant, banker, and everything else to them. She will be deeply missed by everyone that knew her. In the words of Shanea, love you more…
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Monday, January 22, 2024 from 4 to 8 pm. Services will be held on Tuesday at 11 am with Pastor Devani Roe officiating.
