Shirley J. Johnson, age 70, of Kimbolton, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at Altercare of Cambridge. Born February 25, 1956, in Cambridge, she was the only child of Ray B. and Bonnie J. Johnson.

Shirley was a 1975 graduate of Cambridge High School. She grew up working alongside her parents on the family farm, a place that shaped her strong work ethic and quiet dedication. Over the years, she worked for several area employers including Hamilton Beach, Bells Nursing Home, Cambridge Health Care Center, and March Electric.

She was a member of Kimbolton Methodist Church and formerly served as secretary of the Methodist Women. In her spare time, Shirley enjoyed crocheting and creating plastic needlework projects.

Shirley was never married and is survived by her aunts, Gloria Johnson and Betty Rose, along with numerous cousins.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 21, 2026, at Kimbolton Cemetery with Pastor Phil Murphy officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Kimbolton Methodist Church, P.O. Box 52, Kimbolton, Ohio 43749.
