Stella Louise Blanchard, age 78, of Senecaville, OH passed away Tuesday April 6, 2021 at The Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. She was born January 15, 1943 to the late Alex Kaplun and Julia Kaplun.
Along with her parents Stella is preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
Our beloved Stella is survived by her husband, Norman Leslie Blanchard whom she married June 12, 1965. Two daughters, Carol L. (Mark) Doak of Medina, OH and Tracy L. (Greg) Zawie of Strongsville, OH. One son, Don L. Blanchard of New Philadelphia, OH. Two sisters, Irene Mesler of New Cumberland, OH and Carolyn (Bob) Baker of Weirton, WV. Ten grandchildren, three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The Funeral Service will take place at 10 am Friday April 9, 2021 at St. Paul Catholic Church, 3500 Main Street, Weirton, WV 26062. Entombment to follow at St. Paul Cemetery in Weirton, WV. Father Babu Joseph Elamturuthil officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Stella's favorite charity St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
