Theresa M. Hubal

Theresa M. (Seresun) Hubal , 50 of Byesville, loving wife, daughter, sister and auntie went to be with Our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Thursday, February 3, 2011 passing at Good Samaritan from a massive stroke. She was born December 14, 1960 in Lakewood, Ohio the second daughter to Joseph and the late Dorothy Seresun. She leaves her husband, Timothy Hubal, her daddy, Joseph (Martha) Seresun, her sisters, Julianne (Steven) Balik, Rose Marie (Gary) Daymut, Mary (the late John) Barba and the late Veronica Seresun. Her niece Kayla (AJ) Anderson and nephews Matthew Daymut and John Barba II who were the light of her life. Her four legged kids Romeo and Juliet, sisters-in-law, Theresa Welker and Tina Hubal, brother-in-law Tom (Donna) Hubal, a great aunt, several aunts, cousins and friends. She was a 1979 graduate of Meadowbrook High School where she was an avid band member who in 1976 also traveled all over Ohio with the Bicentennial Fife and Drum Corp. She was a lifetime member and parish council president of Christ Our Saviour Orthodox Church and had served on council for many years. She was a member of Ladies of the Moose Lodge #631 and Cambridge V.F.W. Post #2901 Ladies Auxiliary life member. She was proud of her "Little Soldier" and for his years of service for our country. She was involved in many family businesses including: Guernsey Realty (a realtor since 1980), The Teen Junction, Seresuns' 5 & 10, Five Sisters Dress and Bridal Shop and catering at the Pioneer Party Barn as well as being a consultant for Tupperware and Tastefully Simple. A great cook and baker, she was well known for her nut rolls and cookies with orders from as far away California and Canada. Theresa enjoyed church activities, traveling, cooking, baking and enjoying Auntie "E" days with Kayla, Matthew and Johnny and playing with her four legged kids. Though not in the best of health for many years, she had an outrageous zest for life and was always cheerful and upbeat with a smile and hug for everyone, truly an inspiration for all. The Good Lord gave us a generous and loving lady that we were blessed to enjoy time with and we will treasure in our hearts forever. She will be terribly missed by all whom she touched as the world will not be as bright without her. Calling hours will be Monday, February 7, 2011 from 1 to 7 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The service will be on Tuesday, at 10 am at Christ Our Saviour Orthodox Church in Byesville with the church open at 9 am.
