Thomas E. "Butch" Perkins, age 77 of Kimbolton, passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at his home. He was born on November 30, 1946 in Ava, Ohio, a son of the late George and Wilma (Kominar) Perkins.
Butch served his country in the U.S. Army. He was Methodist by faith and a member of the American Legion and the Buffalo V.F.W. Butch was a truck driver for over 53 years and owner of T.E. Perkins Express LLC. He enjoyed anything with trucks and chrome and wheeling and dealing in vehicles.
Butch is survived by: his wife of 45 years, Karen Sue (Caldwell) Perkins, they were married on February 11, 1978; their children, Thomas Jr. (& Allyson) Perkins of Byesville, Michelle (& Steve) Landman of Kimbolton and Travis (& Olivia) Perkins of Kimbolton; grandchildren, Myranda, Ryan, Nicholas (& Chevelle) Landman, Madysen, Haylie, Trace and Titan; great grandchildren, Elijah, Hunter, Audrey, Colt and Caroline; two sisters, Carol Voyles (& Glen Worthington) of Cincinnati and Victoria (& Gary) Prupis of ST. George, Utah; a brother Bobby (& Patricia) Perkins of Austin, Texas; and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
He is preceded in death by: his parents and an infant sister Adrian.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 16, 2024 from 5 to 8 pm. His funeral will be at 11 am on Thursday, also at Bundy-Law with Rev. Sandra Cappel officiating. Burial will follow in Kimbolton Cemetery with Military Honors provided by the Newcomerstown American Legion. Memorial donations may be made to Liberty Township Fire Department.
