Obituary

Thomas L. Johnson, age 76 of Senecaville passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2025 at the Morrison House in Zanesville. He was born in Cambridge on August 17, 1949, a son of the late Jack L. and Elizabeth Joy (Danley) Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was a 1967 graduate of Cambridge High School. Before he could drive, Tom was fighting fires and driving fire trucks for Kimbolton Volunteer Fire Department. He was a faithful member for over 35 years. Many of those years were as the Chief. He helped turn it into Liberty Community Volunteer Fire Department. He served his country in the U.S.Army during the Vietnam War. After the military, he had began his working career at Hinchcliff and Equipco, he worked for many numerous companies from Cambridge to Zanesville to Marietta and had his own company, Techlift. After retiring Tom enjoyed working on his tractors and was a John Deere fanatic. He enjoyed spending his life working and toward his later years, he enjoyed crossword puzzles.
Tom is preceded in death by: his parents; his first wife Nancy; and his son Jeremy.
He is survived by: his wife of 22 years, Susan M. (Pattison) Johnson; children, Rochelle Johnson, Julie (Jeremy) Amos and Brent Robinson; siblings, Connie Clipner, Kathy (John) Parks, Diana (John deceased) Caldwell, Sandy Johnson, Tim (June) Johnson, Brenda Rose and Irene (Richard) Gano; grandchildren, Emily (Chris) Magers, Ellie and Mason Amos, Rosalyn and Isabel Johnson; daughter-in-law Monica Johnson; a great granddaughter Evelyn Magers; many, many nieces and nephews; and his dog Daisy.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 15, 2025 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home from 3 to 7 pm. His funeral will be on Thursday at 11 am also at Bundy-Law with Pastor Phil Murphy officiating. Burial will follow in Guernsey Memory Gardens, where Military Graveside Rites will be performed by the Guernsey County Veterans Council. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Morrison Hospice House at 713 Forrest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.
