Trinda Diane Gregory, age 76 of Cambridge, passed away on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at The Beckett House in New Concord. She was born on August 29, 1949 in Cambridge, the daughter of the late Galen "Skip" Braniger and Wilma "Jimmie" (Nichols) Braniger.
Mrs. Gregory was a 1967 graduate of John Glenn High School who then chose a career as a Fingerprint Technician for the FBI in Washington, DC. Upon returning to Guernsey county she worked at NCR where she met Raleigh Gregory whom she married June 6, 1970 and was married to until his passing in 2023. Trinda pursued many careers, even returning to school and obtaining her associates at Zane State. Her favorite and most fulfilling job was her position as a Social Worker at Red Carpet Health Care Center. Aside from her duties she enjoyed camping, traveling to visit friends and for adventure, and visits to her place of peace, the ocean. She loved her family and her grandchildren whom she proudly supported in their military careers. Because her father was a square dance caller she found a personal love for it as well. She and her brother Garland would dance together and instruct other couples and she even filled in for her father when he became ill. Trinda also had a love for her Lord and Savior and attended and became a member of the North Avenue Christ United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by: parents; her in-laws Ernie and Mildred (Brown) Gregory, her husband Raleigh Gregory; and two sons, Raleigh Wayne "R.W." Gregory and Travis Gregory.
Surviving are; a daughter Ralnell (William) Cutlip of Lore City, OH; two grandchildren, Pearson (Seth) Perez-Duran of Oklahoma City, OK. and Zackery Cutlip of Spokane, WA.; a brother Garland (Sarranell) Braniger of Lakeland, FL; and four nieces and a nephew, Deena (Bryan) Brace of Sandusky, OH., Mendi (Tom) Welshans of Slaughters, KY.
