Venice "June" McFarland went to the Lord Friday, December 19th surrounded by her family after a long battle.
Spending the holidays and special occasions with her family brought her so much joy, as her family was the most important thing in her life.
She loved working in her yard, hanging laundry outside, going to lunch with her family and her dear friends from church. She enjoyed day trips to lay by the pool with her daughter and grandchildren. She truly enjoyed all the simple pleasures in life.
June was an avid Elvis fan. Collecting memorabilia and most of all listening to his music. She had very fond memories of her many trips to Graceland.
June is preceded in death by: her parents, Paul Crossen and Anna Helen (Daugherty) Crossen; her husband William E. McFarland in 2010; and two brothers, Phil and John Crossen.
Surviving are: three children, Jill (Michael) Wilson of Byesville, Ohio, William D. McFarland of Huston, Texas and Russell (Krystal) McFarland of Norwich, Ohio; a sister Linda (Sam) Eltringham of Byesville, Ohio; grandchildren, Cody, Brendan, Conner, Justice, Audra, Kaylynn; one great grandson Waylon; and many nieces and nephews.She had three lifelong friends that she cherished, Jina, Rose and Evi.
She will forever be remembered for her caring heart and pure soul. She always took care of others before herself.

To Hospice of Guernsey, Melissa and Bridgette, who made her last days comfortable and are the most compassionate group of people. What a blessing to have such wonderful individuals, that gave so much love and comfort to such an amazing and cherished lady.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Friday, December 26, 2025 from 1 to 6 pm with the service beginning at 6 pm. Chaplain Kris Bright will officiate the service.
