Obituary

Verna Glen Hite Miller, 91, of Cambridge, Ohio passed away on June 15, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family.
Verna was born on April 4, 1933 in Dennison, Ohio a daughter of the late Victor and Martha (Hicks) Hite. She was a member of the Bates Hill Church of Christ, graduated Salutatorian from Franklin High School in New Athens, Ohio and attended Ohio Valley College in Parkersburg, WV. She was devoted to her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved watching them play sports and was their biggest fan. Verna was an avid Ohio State Football and Cleveland Brown's fan, world traveler and is referred to by her grandchildren as "the original Pinterest".
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Flavil Miller, her brothers Victor Hite and David Hite, sisters Betty Brown, Lucille Harris Slentz and Joann Troyer, son-in-law Robert D'Arezzo, step-son Gary Miller and special friends Robert and Ellen Howell and Patti Howell Vaughn.
Verna is survived by her 5 daughters Nicki Gordan of Maynard, Ohio, Robin (David) Stout of Parkersburg, WV., Jamy D'Arezzo of Flagstaff, Arizona, Heidi Riley of St. Clairsville, Ohio, and Wendy Fleagane of Cambridge, Ohio, grandchildren Randi Taylor, Noah (Cyndie) Taylor, Nick Moore, Jennifer (Derek) Diehl, Erin (Joey) Delloma, Adam (Megan) Stout, Bethany (Brandon) Moore, Jonnie Lively, and Uriah Rex and 13 great grandchildren, stepchildren Marca (Larry) Porter, Mona (Mark) Stouffer, Bruce Miller and step-grandchildren Tyler Stouffer, Ashley (Toby) Waggoner, Gretchen (Dave) Chaffin, Ellie (Perry) Erb, Nathan Miller, Brett (Lori) Porter, Fawn (Perry) Fillipis, brother James (Mary Lou) Hite, brother-in-law Dean Troyer and special loved ones Randy, Peggy, and John Howell, Despina Karos, Toula Evangelenos , Iona Rominger and Joyce Underwood.
Visiting hours will be from 3:00 to 5:00 on Wednesday June 19, 2024 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home with funeral services to follow at 5:00 with Dean Troyer officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to Wayne County Habitat for Humanity 2700 Akron Road Wooster, Ohio 44691.
