Victor D. Lagneaux, age 72 of Cambridge passed away on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at Southeastern Ohio Regional Medical Center. He was born on November 20, 1949 in Guernsey County, a son of the late Lionel "Bud" Lagneaux and Marge M. (Thatcher) Lagneaux.
Mr. Lagneaux was a 1968 graduate of Meadowbrook High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1973. He worked in law enforcement, most of his career with the Cambridge Police Department and as a K-9 officer. Vic had also been a juvenile transport officer and bailiff. He was a member of the Cambridge F.O.P . He was an avid fisherman and cook. Vic loved traveling and spending time with the family and attending the grandkids sporting events.
Vic is preceded in death by: his parents; and his wife Holly D. (Carter) Lagneaux.
Surviving are: two daughters, Laurel (& Matt) Bautz of Mansfield and Julie (& Chad) Morse of Marysville; five grandchildren, Lilly DeLong, Brody Bautz, Victor (& Olivia) Lagneaux, Danika Morse, and Mackenzie (& A.J.)Moots; five great grandchildren, Blake, Corinne, Chansleigh, Finley and Ellis; a brother Tom Lagneaux; a special friend Paul "Paulie"Conner; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
Memorial visitation will be held at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Saturday, May 21, 2022 from 12 noon to 2 pm with a memorial service at 2 pm. Military Honors will be performed in the parking lot by the Guernsey County Veterans Council.
