Violet Jane Slay, age 80 of Bremen, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the home of her daughter in Lancaster. She was born on June 12, 1941 in Cambridge, a daughter of the late Otis Tedrick and Dora (Montoney) Tedrick.
Mrs. Slay had worked and retired from Columbus Pipe and Equipment as an office manager. She enjoyed family functions and birthday get togethers and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Jane is preceded in death by: her parents; her husband Charles A. Slay on May 5, 2021, they were married for 60 years; three brothers, Johnny, Joe and Richard Tedrick; and a sister Sandy Tedrick.
Surviving are: children, Charles D. Slay, Kim (Mike) Sidwell and David (Laurie) Slay; a sister Linda (Terry) Bishop; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a loving caregiver Darby McDonald.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Monday December 13, 2021 from 11 am to 12 pm with he service beginning at 12 pm with Mark Beros officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. Jane's online guest book may be viewed and signed at www.bundy-lawfuneralhome.com .
