W. Eugene "Gene" Miller, age 88. of Center, OH passed away Friday December 17, 2021 at his home. He was born September 19, 1933 to the late Wilbur F. Miller and Anna Mae Barrett Miller in Cambridge, OH near Salt Fork. Gene worked for various companies including: Alice Chalmers, Drove School Bus for Cambridge City Schools, Phillips Products, Davidson Equipment, Miller Equipment, Gress Equipment and Eagleview Garden Center. Gene was also a 4-H Advisor for The Guernsey County Saddle Club. He attended Rock Hill School and gradated from Cambridge High School Class of 1951. Gene enjoyed woodworking, gardening and fixing anything broke. He took alot of pride in his home.
Along with his parents Gene is preceded in death by one sister, Helen E. Wilson.
Gene is survived by his wife Beverly J. Hinson Miller whom he married June 3, 1952 they were married for over 69 years. One daughter, Debra L. (Michael) McKay of Cambridge, OH. One son, Tom E. (Kim) Miller of Cambridge, OH. One sister, Norma Nicholson of Cambridge, OH. Three grandchildren: Kelly R. Beckner, Heather C. McKay, T.J. (Nicole) Miller. One sister-in-law Barbara Bates of Heath, OH. One great grandchild, Allison M. Beckner. Gene is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Tuesday December 21, 2021 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 am Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor Jim Gaston officiating burial will be in Center Cemetery.
