Wayne L. Lowden, age 83, of Cambridge, OH passed away Tuesday October 22, 2024 at his home. Wayne was born December 24, 1940 to the late Joseph E. Lowden and Mildred Ruth Hild Lowden in Irwin, PA. Wayne retired from Champion Spark Plug after 33 years as a supervisor. He attended Salem Baptist Church and was a Navy Veteran. Wayne enjoyed hunting and fishing, working on the farm, gardening, mowing grass and anything outdoors.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by a sister Carol.
He is survived by his wife Virginia A. Conrad Lowden whom he married September 2, 1961. One daughter, Karen D. Lowden of Cambridge, OH. Three sons: Bradley J. (Dr. Esther) Lowden of Germany, Jeffery V. Lowden of Cambridge, OH, Michael W. (Shari) Lowden of MN. One sister, Janice (Doug) Bailey of PA. One brother, Mark (Bonnie) Lowden of Cambridge, OH. Five grandchildren: Georginia, Josephine, Nicholas, Jonathan, Sarah. Two nephews, Adam and Steve.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 pm Monday October 28, 2024 at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held in the spring. Memorial Contributions may be made to Humane Society of Guernsey, 108 Franklin Ave., Cambridge, OH 43725.
