William Joseph "Bill" Turner, age 87, of Groveport, OH formerly of Cambridge, OH passed away Tuesday August 3, 2021 at Brookdale Lakeview Crossing Assisted Living. Bill was born October 20, 1933 to the late Henry Harold Turner and Helen Jenkins Turner in Bellfountaine, OH. Mr. Turner ran Turner's Jewelry in Cambridge for many years. Later Bill was a Sales Rep for RPM in Cleveland. OH. A Veteran of the Air Force from 1954 to 1958. A former member of The Elks Clubs in Cambridge. A member of Claysville United Methodist Church.
Along with his parents Bill is preceded in death by three sisters: Betty, Jo, Barbara. One brother Tom. A Stepmother, Mary Jenkins.
He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Esther "Meg" (Gordon) Turner. Two daughters, Vivian L. (Stephen) Williams of Cumberland, OH and Megan J. (Peter) Settemberino of Pickerington, OH. One son Scott (Sheridan) Turner of Lebanon, OH. Six grandchildren: Amy, Kelsey, Lauren, Will, Drew, Josie. Two great grand children, Grant and Oliver.
Friends may call Friday from 5 to 7 p.m. at Bundy-Law Funeral Home and again on Saturday from 12N till 1 pm at Claysville United Methodist Church. The Funeral Service will take place at 1 pm Saturday at Claysville United Methodist Church. Pastor Keith Taylor officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
