William H. Schwartz, age 76 of Senecaville, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at his home. He was born in Geneva, Indiana on February 4, 1947, a son of the late Henry H. Schwartz and Katherine (Wickey) Schwartz.
Mr. Schwartz was a farmer at heart. He worked the farm for over 29 years but had most recently worked at Yoder's Mini Barn for the last 17 years.
William is survived by: his wife of 55 years, Susie K. (Hilty) Schwartz; daughters, Katieann (Joe) Troyer of Millersburg, Cindy (Chris) Swartzentruber of Amherst, VA, Rosemary (Sylvan) Schwartz of Salesville, Miriam (Ben) Eicher of Sugarcreek, Malinda (John) Yoder of New Phila and Shyara Schwartz; sons, Willis W.S. (Esther) Schwartz of Millersburg, Jonathan (Lovina) Schwartz of Navarre, Stephen (Miriam) Schwartz of Quaker City,
Solomon Schwartz of Salesville and Simon (Aryka) Schwartz of Pleasant City; sisters, Amanda (Sam) Wickey of Berne, IN., Rebecca (Dan) Eicher of Geneva, IN. Sarah (John) Hilty of Geneva, IN. and Mary (Willie) Shetler of Berne, IN; brothers, Dan (Leah) Schwartz of Bryant, IN., and Paul (Amanda) Schwartz of Fremont, MI.; two sister-in-laws, Mary Schwartz of Berne, IN. and Ida Mae Schwartz of Nappanee, IN.; 68 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous and nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by: his parents; and four brothers, Dave, Henry, Martin and Andy Schwartz.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Sunday, May 28th from 4 to 6 pm and on Monday, May 29th from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, May 30 at Stop Nine Church of Christ at 10 am located at 60330 Southgate Road, Byesville, Ohio 43723.
