William Thomas "Tom" Bennett Jr., age 73, of Cambridge, OH passed away Tuesday January 17, 2023. Tom was born June 24, 1949 to the late William T. Bennett Sr. and Elizabeth Ann Meighen Bennett Conrad in Cambridge, OH. He graduated from Cambridge High School Class of 1967 and later from Capital University. Tom enjoyed: fishing, boating, camping, playing cards with friends. He also enjoyed collecting diecast model cars along with other collectables. Tom worked for: General Telephone, EG Smith in quality control, director of Nelle Lane Gardner Children's Home, Sandusky Children's Services. He retired as Director of Wyandot County Job and Family Services.
Tom is survived by one sister, Kathy (Tim) Calvert of Cambridge, OH. Two nephews, Bill Calvert and Tommy Calvert (Kalee Tipton and her son Liam Valentine) all of Cambridge, OH. Two great nieces, Claire and Jenna. One great nephew, Bennett. Special friend, Jason Fagan and family of Upper Sandusky.
Friends may call Monday from 5 to 8 pm at Bundy-Law Funeral Home. The Funeral Service will take place at 11 am Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Kris Bright officiating. Entombment will follow at Northwood Cemetery.
