Wilma Faye (Sidle) Burke, age 90 of Cambridge passed away Monday, November 25th, 2024 at her residence surrounded by family. She was born October 26th, 1934 in Mermill, Ohio, daughter of the late Ed and Angus Sidle.
Wilma was the Valedictorian of her high school class in Wayne, Ohio. She married her husband Charles (Bill) William Burke June 8th 1952. They had four boys together and worked multiple jobs together. They also operated Burke's Greenhouse together for nearly 30 years. They were devoted members of the Kingdom Hall Of Jehovah's Witnesses. Wilma has her faith in her Heavenly Father that she and Bill will be resurrected together where it is brought in Isaiah 33:24, no resident will be sick anymore.
She is survived by her four sons, Edward Thomas Burke (Senecaville), William Eugene Burke (Cambridge), Charles Frank (Debbie) Burke (Cambridge) and Joseph Allen (Cheryl) Burke (Cambridge). Her grandchildren Jason Burke, Cory Burke, Willy (Brandy) Burke, Ray (Heidi) Burke, Tara Burke, Ryan (Sarah) Burke, Chris (Michelle) Burke, Austin (Morgan) Burke and Jesse Burke (Cambridge). Multiple great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bill Burke, her 11 siblings and parents, her granddaughter Amanda Burke and great grandson Jett Burke.
A memorial service will be held at the Kingdom Hall in Cambridge on December 14th at 2pm located at 6604 John Glenn Highway, Cambridge, Ohio 43725. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to local charities.
