Wilma Headley Watson, 97, of Cambridge, Ohio died peacefully in her sleep on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born to Talmadge and Ethel (Hare) Headley on October 14, 1927. She married Thurman Watson on October 16, 1945, they were married for 69 years until his death on April 5, 2015.
Wilma was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God Church in Byesville.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her sisters Joan Vance and Shirley Barnes.
She is survived by her sister Marjorie Gardner, her daughter Carol Ludwick and her son David (Dina) Watson, her grandchildren Kevin Smith, Amy (Brian) Bystrom, Joy Johnson and April (Jeremy) Cunion; great grandchildren Kayla (Andy) Kobak, Brandon Bystrom, Brianna Bystrom, Winter Thomas, Thain (partner Kristy DeTar) Thomas, Penelope Bystrom, Grant Bystrom, Stella Bystrom, Betsy Johnson, Felicity Johnson, Mallory Cunion, and Natalie Cunion, and great-great grandchildren Jack Kobak, Atticus Sims, Kingston Rowe, and Azlynn Flowers. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank her caretakers, Sue Dickens and Debbie Hamilton, for their kindness and compassion, and also Hospice of Guernsey.
Visitation will be at Bundy-Law Funeral Home on Thursday, May 1, 2025 from 11 am to 1:30 pm with her funeral service to begin at 1:30 pm. CH (LTC) U.S. Army Ret. Gregory Black and Rev. Mark Slay will officiate the service. Private family burial will take place on Friday at Guernsey Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hospice of Guernsey at P.O.
